At Malibu Coast Pet Retreat, we understand that dogs are family. Our Overnight Boarding program is designed to provide a comfortable, structured, and highly attentive stay—tailored to each dog’s routine, preferences, and individual needs.

Whether your dog thrives on routine, requires closer observation, or simply deserves a peaceful place to stay while you’re away, our team is committed to providing compassionate, detail-oriented care.

Veterinary-Connected Care

With Malibu Coast Animal Hospital located on-site, we are able to seamlessly coordinate both planned and as-needed care during your pet’s stay. This includes support for post-surgical aftercare, scheduled vaccines, wellness exams, and ongoing medical needs, as well as prompt attention should any health concerns arise. Our hospital team can administer prescribed medications, including injectables, providing added peace of mind for pets requiring attentive, veterinary-supported care.

1.) Up-To-Date Vaccines - REQUIRED: Rabies, Bordatella, DHPPV, & Leptospirosis RECOMMENDED: Canine Influenza

Personalized Walks

Up to three individual walks through Legacy Park and/or our indoor track. Walks are provided one-on-one to ensure calm & focused care.

Bathroom Tracking

Bathroom habits monitored and documented.

Continuous Fresh Water

Unlimited access to clean, fresh water.

Meal Service

Meals served upon request, following your pet’s routine using in-house or provided options. Appetites are monitored & documented.

Comfortable Rest Areas

Tailored bedding is provided for relaxation between activities. Rest periods are intentionally built into the day for balance and calm.

Weight Check

Weights are documented upon entry.

Daily Health Assessment

General wellness observation by staff (not a veterinary exam). Appetite, energy, mobility, and behavior are monitored throughout the day.

Please Note:

Typical walk times are around 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 10 PM. Your pet will enjoy the walks available to them, depending on your drop-off and pick-up time.
